A pioneer in both fashion and beauty, Donna Karan has been designing for the modern woman for decades. We were tasked to build upon her success and create a fragrance collection based on the design cues of the iconic DK Cashmere Mist. In addition, the brand was seeking to do a striking holiday campaign that brought the cashmere bottle to life both online and in-store.

Donna Karan Cashmere Mist Collection
Inspired by the delicate fluidity of the original DK Cashmere Mist bottle, JMD created a luxurious collection exhibiting a feminine design with delicate soft curves that feel like flowing cashmere enveloping the glass. Just as unique, the cap has an innate organic shape finished in brushed gold. The collar houses the branding, adding to the quiet luxury.
Donna Karan Cashmere Mist Holiday 2023 Campaign
As part of a full 360° campaign for Donna Karan Holiday 2023, JMD created an ad visual of the iconic bottle wrapped in lush gold stardust. We were inspired by the ethereal beauty of the cosmos that essentially creates a rich backdrop for the bottle to live on. The gold tones of the juice and soft curves of the glass and cap create a beautiful contrast that draws you in and takes you on a journey.

Taking cues from the ad visual, the gift set design compliments
the concept and focuses in on the dynamic stardust swirling around
the branding.
IN-STORE MERCHANDISING
We brought the overall aesthetic to life with the in-store experience
allowing the customer to move through a dream-like space inspired by
the inky night sky illuminated by stars.
